2026 DD Advocacy Day
Join the Oregon Developmental Disability Coalition for 2026 DD Advocacy Day during the Oregon Legislative Session. This event brings together self-advocates, family members, providers, and community allies to learn about legislative advocacy and make their voices heard on issues impacting people with developmental disabilities.
The Coalition’s GO! Project Advocacy Team will be on-site to provide information, training, and one-on-one support throughout the day. Whether you’re new to advocacy or an experienced advocate, you’ll receive tools and guidance to help you confidently engage with your state legislators.
A legislative advocacy training will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with both in-person and Zoom options available. Participants are encouraged to wear yellow to show unity in advocacy and to stop by Rooms 102 and 103 before and after legislative visits for updates, coaching, and to complete the GO! Project survey.
