Her experience as a kindergarten teacher and behavior consultant offers a thoughtful\, practical perspective on how behavior services support individuals and families across the lifespan. \nWe are also excited to share that a second presenter will be announced soon. These evenings create a more accessible science center experience through sensory-friendly planetarium shows\, hands-on activities\, service animal access\, and supportive resources such as noise-reduction headphones\, sunglasses\, sensory kits\, and floor cushions. The Eugene Science Center is currently seeking community partners and sponsors to help keep these events free and financially accessible for all guests.\n\nWe’ll also hear from Direction Service\, a multi-program family support nonprofit serving Lane County. Founded in 1976\, Direction Service was built on a heartfelt commitment to treating individuals with disabilities and special needs with respect\, dignity\, and compassionate care. They will be sharing information about sponsorship opportunities for their 2026 Annual Golf Tournament\, which supports their ongoing programs and services.\n\n \n\nJoin us to be part of the learning\, brainstorming\, connection\, and solution-building that help strengthen our IDD community.\n\nWe look forward to starting the year together with collaboration and purpose.
